More and more analysts' long term forecasts indicate positive predictions for one of the most known OS, which is said to become the most popular OS by the end of the year.According to Gartner's latest scores, sales of open OS devices will account for 26 percent of all mobile handset device sales in 2011, and to go up to 1 billion mark by 2015, when they will account for 47% of the total mobile device market.
The analyst research firm expects the Android to register a substantial increase up to 49.2% of the market share by the end of 2012, while Symbian will see a decline from 19.2% in 2011 to 5.2% in 2012. As for the Apple iOS, it will account for 18.9% in 2012 compared to 19.4% by the end of this year.
Microsoft says also a dramatic comeback with 10.8 percent of the market share in the 2012, compared to 5.6% in 2011. If you take a look at the attached photo, you'll see that Android OS is the only with a real increase. This cute little fellow is about to become the most famous and popular OS worldwide.
